A Message From CTS Drummer Joe McGinnity

Hello friends and family of CTS!

I proudly announce my graduation from University of Phoenix, with honors, having earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Global Business Management.

This accomplishment is the culmination of desire, determination, dedication, sacrifice, and commitment that occurred daily through many dark times, external resistance, and seasons of uncertainty. My determination for completion never wavered while external economic and cultural conditions challenged my energy and sense of purpose. Keeping my long-term goal in sight empowered me to master the short-term requirements and celebrate “little wins” along the way. Today, I celebrate and share with you this milestone.

We (all) share the capacity to dream, imagine, and accomplish. We build what we choose, alone in our determination yet connected to others in the tapestry of culture. What do you dream? You alone determine your course.

Some will assist, others will resist. You alone, will persist.

A Touching Testimonial From Robert (Bobby) Bingham

I served 13 years as a Security Forces member with the US Air Force in Iraq before being medically discharged for PTSD. My wife, Shelly, and I have attended numerous concerts during our many years together and can easily say the CTS Freedom Rock Experience concert we recently attended at Mesquite High School is the most memorable.

The CTS band members were amazing and very welcoming. More importantly, I've found a new lifetime friendship with CTS founder, Jeff Senour. His music touched us both in a way no other songs ever have. I still get emotional when listening to the CTS cd. As a member of the US military, I can relate to the lyrics in a way that touches both my heart and soul.

I'd like to thank the band for honoring me on-stage as an Iraqi War veteran. It meant the world to me to be recognized while the band performed their award-winning song, "You Will Never Be Forgotten." It literally brought tears to my eyes and I can’t count the number of people who shook my hand after the show for my service.

Shelly and I want to thank Jeff, all the CTS band members and everybody who attended the concert for making this a memory of a lifetime. It really let us know how many people truly appreciate the sacrifice made by everyone serving our country through military service.

This partnership is a perfect fit to help expose our MyThankYouCoins.com Campaign and an exciting way to educate.”

Jeff Senour of CTS said, “It is my honor to announce that rock band CTS, is joining efforts with Tonya Evans and the AFWMF. Tonya is a passionate and amazing person who has one of the biggest hearts for our Veterans of anyone I’ve ever known. Our mission at CTS has been to honor our American Heroes and inspire our youth to live their dreams, which is identical to the mission of AFWMF. We are excited to be a part of launching “My Thank You Coins” campaigns around the country in an effort to teach the youth of America that we must never forget the men and women who serve this country defending our Freedom. It is our honor at CTS – Consider The Source to be a part of such a great cause and look forward to the day we all stand at the new Memorial and honor our fallen. I feel students and schools around the country will feel pride knowing they were a part of such an amazing journey to say thanks to our American Heroes. Thanks Tonya for allowing us the opportunity to be a part of something so special. We can’t wait to go rock the world and change it together one heart at a time.”

The AFWMF will be launching their first school to participate in the MyThankYouCoins.com Campaign in conjunction with the Freedom Rock Concert on March 22, 2013 at the Mesquite High Auditorium, 500 S McQueen Rd. Fueled by a passion to celebrate the freedom we all enjoy and to motivate America’s youth through music, Jeff Senour formed the award winning-rock band, C.T.S. (Consider The Source) in 2002. From radio charts to letters from Presidents, C.T.S. have received prestigious national acclaim for their musical contributions.

C.T.S. motivates people of all ages through their music and live performances, inspiring individuals to follow their dreams while reinforcing the patriotic values the US is built upon. Jeff’s original song & music video, “You Won’t Be Forgotten,” won several awards, including “Song of the Year” by the Military Writer’s Guild. C.T.S. performances have appeared on television and multiple DVDs, including “Run For The Wall,” a tribute honoring the commitment of our military veterans.

In 2009, Jeff created a new era for C.T.S. with the introduction of the “Freedom Rock Experience.” Remembering his inspiration for the idea, Jeff said, “I wanted to do something unique and touch young people’s lives in a positive way through our music. I was attending my daughter’s orchestra recital when I thought of integrating high school or college orchestras into a rock concert experience with C.T.S. My ultimate goal is to inspire students to pursue their dreams.”

Come be part of our part of our journey to celebrate this great country of ours and all the wonderful individuals who make daily sacrifices to make it an even better place where our dreams can come true. When you hear the truth, you have to Consider The Source.
